‘New Yorker, The’

«Нью-Йоркер», литературно-публицистический журнал-еженедельник, издаваемый в Нью-Йорке. Основан в 1925. Славится публицистическими статьями, короткими рассказами и карикатурами. В числе его регулярных авторов были Огден Нэш [*Nash, Ogden], Дороти Паркер [*Parker, Dorothy] и Джеймс Тёрбер [*Thurber, James], из русских авторов — Сергей Довлатов. Высокоавторитетный журнал, рассчитан на образованных читателей; для писателя большая честь быть опубликованным в «Нью-Йоркере»
